Like most online stores, Anthorecommerce uses cookies to make the Site work, to understand how it is used and to show relevant offers. This notice lists the cookies we set, what each one does, and how to change your preferences at any time.

1. Types of Cookies on This Site

We group our cookies into four categories:

Essential (always on): Shopify cookies that run the cart, checkout, login and security, such as cart, _shopify_s, _shopify_y, _secure_session_id, secure_customer_sig.
Functional: remember your currency, language and dismissed banners (localization, keep_alive).
Performance and analytics: Shopify analytics and Google Analytics cookies (_shopify_sa_p, _landing_page, _ga, _gid) that show us which pages work and which do not, in aggregated form.
Marketing: pixels and cookies from Meta and Google (_fbp, _gcl_au) that measure our ads and personalise the ones you see elsewhere; you can opt out at any time.

2. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Some are deleted when you close your browser (session cookies); others stay for a set period (persistent cookies). "First-party" cookies are set by anthorecommerce.com; "third-party" cookies are set by services we use, such as analytics and advertising platforms. We also use similar technologies — pixels, local storage and SDKs — which this policy treats in the same way.

3. Third Parties That Set Cookies

Cookies from partners appear on our Site for specific jobs: Shopify runs the store and its built-in analytics; Shopify Payments (powered by Stripe) secures payments; Google and Meta measure and deliver advertising; and our review, tracking and email apps support customer service. These companies have their own privacy policies governing what they do with the data; our agreements limit their use to the purposes listed here.

4. Cookie Lifetimes

Most of our cookies are short-lived — the cart and session cookies expire when your browsing session ends or after a few hours. Analytics and advertising cookies persist for up to 13 months so that returning visits can be measured; they are not extended beyond that without a new visit. All cookies can be removed at any time from your browser.

5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You are in control. Everyone can manage cookies in the browser (settings → privacy) — note that disabling essential cookies breaks the cart and checkout. To stop targeted advertising, use the controls on the Cookie preferences page, turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser (we treat it as an opt-out), or use optout.aboutads.info. Google offers a browser add-on to block Google Analytics.
