Privacy Policy

Anthorecommerce is committed to handling your personal information responsibly and transparently. Below you will find, in plain language, what we collect, how we use it, with whom it is shared, and how to reach us about your data. This policy took effect on September 18, 2026.

1. Data Controller

The business responsible for your personal information is Anthor E Commerce, 1301 Evergreen Ct, Highland Mills, NY 10930, United States, reachable at help@anthorecommerce.com. Our store runs on Shopify, which hosts the Site and processes orders on our behalf. This policy applies to information collected through anthorecommerce.com, by email and our contact and return forms.

2. What We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

Identifiers and contact details — name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, provided when you order or contact us.
Order and payment information — products purchased, order value, and payment details. Card numbers are collected and processed directly by Shopify Payments (powered by Stripe); we see only the last four digits and the payment method.
Account and communication data — messages you send us, reviews you submit, and your customer service history.
Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring URLs and interactions with the Site, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
Marketing preferences — whether you have subscribed to or unsubscribed from our emails.

3. Retention Periods

Retention is tied to purpose: transaction data stays for 7 years (tax and warranty), support tickets for 3 years, marketing consent records until you opt out plus a suppression record so we do not contact you again, and technical logs for up to 12 months. After that, we delete or anonymize the data unless we must keep it for a legal claim or a statutory obligation.

4. Third Parties

Your data is shared with service providers that help us deliver what you bought, each bound to use it only for that purpose: Shopify, which hosts our store; Shopify Payments (powered by Stripe) and the payment networks, for payment and fraud screening; carriers and warehouses in the United States, China and the European Union — including USPS, UPS and JS Express — which receive delivery details; the email, messaging and help-desk tools we use to support you; and analytics and advertising platforms that set cookies on the Site (see the Cookie Policy for controls). We also disclose data when the law requires it or to protect our rights. We never sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising except through the cookie-based advertising you can opt out of.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to: process and deliver your orders and send order, shipping and delivery updates; provide customer support and handle returns, refunds and warranty claims; prevent fraud and protect the security of the Site and our payment provider; comply with legal obligations, including tax and consumer protection laws; improve the Site, our products and your shopping experience through analytics; and, with your consent or where permitted, send you marketing communications about our products and offers. We do not use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

6. How We Protect Your Information

We protect personal information with technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk: the Site is served over HTTPS/TLS, payments are processed by PCI-DSS certified providers, access to customer data is limited to people who need it, and our platform providers maintain independent security certifications. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; if a breach affecting your data occurs we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

7. Marketing Emails

If you subscribe to our newsletter or make a purchase, we may send you promotional emails about products, offers and news from Anthorecommerce. Every marketing email identifies us as the sender, includes our postal address (1301 Evergreen Ct, Highland Mills, NY 10930, United States) and contains an unsubscribe link; opt-out requests are honored within 10 business days, as required by the CAN-SPAM Act, and you will continue to receive transactional emails about your orders. You can also unsubscribe by writing to help@anthorecommerce.com.

8. Privacy Rights for U.S. Residents

Regardless of the state you live in, you can ask us to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; delete your information (subject to legal retention); receive a portable copy of it; and opt out of marketing, of targeted advertising cookies (on the Cookie preferences page), and of any sale or sharing of your data (we do not sell it). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Send requests to help@anthorecommerce.com with the subject "Privacy request"; we verify your identity using the email associated with your orders and respond within 45 days. If we decline a request, we explain why and you may appeal by replying to our response. Do Not Track: our Site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals, but we honor Global Privacy Control opt-out signals for targeted advertising where technically supported.

9. Children Under 13

We do not sell to or knowingly collect data from children under 13 (COPPA). Should we learn that we hold information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we delete it. Parents or guardians who have concerns can reach us at help@anthorecommerce.com.

10. Policy Changes

This policy is reviewed regularly. When we change it, the new version is posted here with a new effective date; significant changes are also communicated by a notice on the Site or by email. We encourage you to check this page from time to time.
